BOOK YOUR EVENT
FAQs
How can I book with you?
Using the form above you can book with me. I’ll personally review your submission and get back to you within 2-3 business days (including weekends). Once we have confirmed event details and agreed on a quote you’ll submit a deposit to lock your event in. I can’t wait to spin all the records you want to hear!
Can I trust you to play the right songs?
Yes. I focus on creating a playlist specifically for your event. In addition to having a say over what is played at your event, you can trust my musical knowledge and crowd reading ability. From the moment we confirm your booking I will use applications like (Spotify, Apple Music, etc…) to coordinate a “must play” playlist that will sync with my DJ software. I will also be sure to get the songs you don’t want played and ward off any unwanted requests.
What kind of music do you play?
I’m what is known as an “open format DJ”, meaning I am an expert in playing and mixing all genres. I play top 40, pop, hip-hop, r&b, dancehall, reggae, afrobeat, rock, country, classical, and dance. I also play music from Spanish speaking islands and countries, Khmer, and Cabo Verde. I also will play what you want!
Do you provide wireless microphones for toast or speeches?
Yes, all my DJ services will provide access to 2 wireless microphones for anyone to host and get the party going!
What is your live music experience level?
I’m very experienced. I’ve been playing the viola for over 20 years, and have performed in many professional spaces (e.g., philharmonic, music festivals, etc…). I have experience arranging music and can cover popular songs.
Do I require a table for set-up?
No, I come ready to perform. My "DJ Commend Center” allows me to set-up in minutes and provides me with a sleek & professional booth sure to impress your guests.
What will you wear to my event?
Professionalism is important to me. I will come dressed appropriately for the event. For example, if it’s a wedding, you can expect a suit & tie attire and a haircut to look great for the camera!
